Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Bristol, RI to support engineering execution and daily production readiness. You will assist with ERP, BOM, routing, and work instruction updates while coordinating tooling, fixtures, and setup sheets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience Manufacturing Engineering Experience Required.
• 5+ years Experience Manufacturing Experience (CNC Machining, Molding or Resin Development) Required.
• High School Diploma / GED Engineering or Related Technical Degree Required.
• Associate or bachelor’s Degree Engineering or Related Technical Degree Preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing Processes; 5S, Kaizen, ect. Preferred.
• Demonstrates understanding and responds proactively with a sense of urgency to customer/ operational needs. Solution-focused with ability to drive projects/ tasks to completion.
• Engages appropriate personnel to ensure effective implementation. Required.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and applications Required.
• Knowledge of machining and injection molding practices Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering execution activities to maintain readiness and continuity.
• Assist ERP and routing maintenance, BOM updates, and work instruction creation.
• Coordinate fixturing, tooling, and setup sheets for production.
• Support EC activities and engineering changes.
• Provide floor-level troubleshooting to improve flow and reduce scrap.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations.
