AAON, Inc. in Memphis is looking for a manufacturing engineering technician to join their team. This role involves installing and commissioning manufacturing equipment, implementing Lean Manufacturing practices, and providing technical training across shifts. The ideal candidate should have an Associate’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience in an industrial operations setting.
Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement projects, supporting problem-solving initiatives, and maintaining positive control over project operations. The role requires lifting, climbing, and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
Operate as a member of multidisciplinary teams to install and commission manufacturing equipment, maintain positive control of project materials, and facilitate the work of contract labor and or vendor installation teams. The manufacturing engineering technician’s primary responsibility is to execute and facilitate accomplishment of project tasks in accordance with the project schedule.
Office environment with periodic visits to the test lab and manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, stooping, sitting, or standing for prolonged periods.
