Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years related experience or training in manufacturing or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and other technical docs.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Ability to analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
• Team player with good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineering, and production departments.
• Support development, routing, and implementation of manufacturing instructions to assemble products.
• Review and approve Engineering Change Orders for BOM structures and assign labor hours to MES.
• Review documentation such as procedures, BOMs, drawings, and routings.
• Assist with pFMEA to identify failures and recommend improvements.
• Provide guidance for preventive maintenance and repair on equipment.
• Provide training to production staff and direction to production trainer.
• Assist in prototype development by debugging, assembly, and testing.
• Report KPIs and metrics.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and apply Six Sigma tools.
