Job summary

Trust Automation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician Level 1-3 in San Luis Obispo. The role focuses on developing manufacturing processes, improving existing products, and collaborating with Engineering and Operations teams to enable lean, efficient production of complex systems.

Level 1–3 offer increasing autonomy under supervision, with mentoring from MFGE personnel and collaboration across IPTs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 10 years related experience.
• Ability to create electrical schematics and/or mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and machining/shop equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Validate design and materials used for assembly and test steps.
• Develop and sustain preventative maintenance plans for fixtures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues during prototype and LRIP phases.
• Create data for ERP/MRP and edit mechanical/electrical drawings.
