Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Engineering leader to coach the ME and Test Engineering teams in Mesa, AZ. You will set objectives, schedules, and resources for engineering projects and coordinate capital equipment for improvements.

You will guide lean manufacturing initiatives, drive DFX considerations in design reviews, and ensure smooth transitions from engineering to production while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years Manufacturing Engineering experience; 5+ years New Product Introduction experience; 5+ years leadership in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and ongoing coaching to Manufacturing Engineering & Test Engineering teams.
• Establish objectives, schedules, and priorities for the Engineering team.
• Plan and coordinate required resources for the Engineering team.
• Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and equipment layout for efficiency.
• Define, propose, and implement capital equipment for process improvements.
• Lead multi-disciplinary problem-solving teams and implement solutions.
• Make product-dependent process and flow presentations to customers.
• Maximize product quality and minimize liability via manufacturing tech and QC.
• Drive DFX during design reviews/changes and participate in design reviews.
