Job summary

Sigil Partners Staffing is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for the Greater Sioux Falls area. You will lead the Manufacturing Engineering department, drive cost-reduction initiatives, oversee tooling and equipment investments, and coordinate with production and R&D to improve processes and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial Management or equivalent, 5–7 years of supervisory manufacturing experience, and strong knowledge of plant/industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of plant/industrial engineering and tooling.
• Experience with ISO quality standards and manufacturing compliance.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all activities in the Manufacturing Engineering department.
• Evaluate processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency before/after engineering releases.
• Coordinate engineering releases and changes, including routings, standards, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish project priorities and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain documentation related to engineering projects, improvements, and cost-reduction activities.
• Investigate, evaluate, justify, purchase, and track assets including tooling and equipment.
• Oversee tooling construction and development for accuracy and timeliness.
• Plan plant layouts, expansions, and modifications with external contractors.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Ensure EMS/ISO compliance and quality standards.
• Maintain regular onsite attendance as required.
