LCI-Lawinger Consulting in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering, drive process improvements, and boost equipment reliability and lean performance.

You will partner with Operations, Quality, Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and IT to improve safety, quality, productivity, throughput, and uptime while coaching the Engineering team and supporting daily production needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in an industrial environment.
Experience leading or supervising manufacturing engineering personnel.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team.
Set priorities, assign resources, and ensure accountability for projects and results.
Improve production processes, workflow, ergonomics, tooling, fixtures, layouts, and standard work.
Lead lean initiatives, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action efforts.
Provide timely engineering support for production, quality, process, tooling, and equipment issues.
Support product and process changes, including production validation, workforce readiness, ramp-up, and handoff.
Improve equipment reliability through preventive maintenance support, recurring-issue tracking, spare-parts planning, and repair coordination.
