Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing or Industrial Engineer.
• 5+ years of technical management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering, plant engineering, and tooling.
• Budget management and cost reduction experience.
• Experience with iron casting, metal cutting, or high-volume production manufacturing a plus.
• Lean / Kaizen experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all manufacturing engineering activities to hit production goals.
• Drive cost reduction, process improvement and capital equipment initiatives.
• Direct and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
• Partner with plant leadership to achieve continuous improvement targets.
• Develop cost estimates for assembly, automation, and components.
• Support shop floor management and production planning activities.
• Modify existing equipment to improve performance and reduce costs.
