The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads and develops Covaris’ manufacturing engineering team, with responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and delegating engineering resources across instrument and consumables manufacturing. This is a people‑ and program‑leadership role focused on building team capability, managing departmental priorities and budget, and ensuring the engineering organization delivers reliable, compliant, and cost‑effective manufacturing for products used in biological sample preparation. The successful candidate is a seasoned leader with 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, including 5+ years directly managing engineering teams. Rather than functioning as an individual contributor, this leader sets direction, allocates resources, removes obstacles, and draws on deep engineering experience to mentor and develop the team.
Employees are required to follow any other job‑related instructions and to perform any other job‑related duties requested by their supervisor.
The annual compensation range for this full‑time position is $140,000 to $160,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
