We are currently assisting our client, a global leader in their industry, with a Manufacturing Engineering Manager search in Orange County, CA. This position will lead and mentor the Engineering department and manage the function for the organization; responsible for the design engineering programs from initial concept phases to launch, while ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maximize efficiencies and achieve capacity requirements
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop strategies for increasing market share in existing markets in addition to penetrating new markets
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement for the most effective use of resources and drive improvement in product quality
• Manage the prototypes and testing to meet customer requirements
• Engage with suppliers for development support when necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
• 10+ years' in manufacturing engineering, with at least five years in a senior leadership role
• Experience with commercial aerospace product development preferred
• Proven team leadership experience with an emphasis on developing and long-term strategy
