Job summary

Confident Search Consultants seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead a team responsible for improving production readiness, process reliability, quality, and throughput at a manufacturer of temperature sensors and related components.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on involvement in process development, tooling, work instructions, and solving day-to-day manufacturing challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising technical personnel or leading engineering projects.
• Knowledge of process development, tooling, work instructions, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate the manufacturing engineering team's workload to support production.
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods, routings, and assembly processes.
• Lead transitions of new or revised products into repeatable production with proper docs and training.
• Provide technical support for production problems and lead root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement improvements in cycle time, labor utilization, and quality.
• Collaborate with design engineering to review manufacturability and resolve constraints.
• Support equipment selection, capital project justification, installation, and validation.
• Coach engineers and technicians and reinforce safe work practices and quality.
