Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor for a client that designs precision sensors, fittings, and assemblies. The role focuses on supervising manufacturing engineering activities to improve readiness, quality, and throughput, with hands-on process development and tooling involvement.

Responsibilities include prioritizing workloads, developing methods, leading production transfers, supporting root-cause analysis, and coaching engineers and technicians to uphold

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Eng or related field.
• Experience supervising technical personnel or leading projects.
• Experience in precision manufacturing or engineered assemblies.
• Knowledge of tooling, work instructions, and drawings.
• Ability to balance immediate production support with long-term improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate workload to support production and NPI.
• Develop and improve methods, routings, tooling, fixtures.
• Lead transition of new/revised products into production with training.
• Provide technical support for production problems; coordinate RCA.
• Identify improvements in cycle time, labor, yield, scrap, rework.
• Collaborate with design to review manufacturability.
• Support equipment selection, capital justification, installation, validation.
• Coach engineers/technicians; maintain process docs; enforce safety and quality.
