Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor for a client manufacturing temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable/harness assemblies in Buffalo, NY. You will supervise manufacturing engineering activities, lead a team, and drive process development, tooling, work instructions, and day-to-day problem solving to improve readiness and throughput.

Your role includes coordinating workload, developing methods, and guiding transitions to repeatable production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Eng or related discipline, or equivalent.
• Manufacturing engineering experience in precision manufacturing or engineered assembly.
• Experience supervising technical staff or leading engineering projects.
• Knowledge of process development, tooling, work instructions, and drawings.
• Ability to balance immediate production support with longer-term improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate workload of the manufacturing engineering team.
• Develop and improve methods, routings, and assembly processes.
• Lead transitions of new or revised products into production with documentation and training.
• Provide technical support and drive root cause analysis.
• Identify and reduce cycle time, waste, and rework.
• Review manufacturability with design engineering to resolve constraints.
• Support equipment selection, capital projects, and process validation.
• Coach engineers and technicians and maintain process documentation.
