Job summary

RTX in the United States is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Intern position to support real-time production activities on air data sensor manufacturing. You will work with design engineering, program office, operations, and quality teams to ensure milestones are met during the internship.

You will learn lean principles, apply engineering knowledge to real-world problems, and use data to validate process improvements while engaging with multiple functions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Some experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience working with teams, technical or non-technical.

• Maintain manufacturing documentation to ensure it is accurate and readable.
• Develop/maintain tools and fixturing to assist in the manufacturing of product.

This position is for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern on the team offering direct support to the manufacturing of air data sensors. This includes cross-functional collaboration with various organizational functions (Design Engineering, Program Office, Operations, Quality Engineering, Etc.) to ensure project milestones are achieved.

You will work in a highly collaborative engineering environment, working in tandem with other manufacturing engineers on the team. You will be able to balance program needs while providing solutions to ensure yield targets and part performance requirements are met.

What You Will Do:

• Support product manufacturing in real time.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD.
