Job summary

AGCO in Beloit, Kansas is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will join the team onsite to help formulate, coordinate, and implement manufacturing engineering activities across responsibilities.

You will support production during launches, develop standard data via time studies/MTM, and help estimate costs for components while ensuring delivery schedules. You will lead efficiency improvements and collaborate with multiple production groups within our MRP/Planning

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college program pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing engineering concepts, lean manufacturing principles, floor layout, and workflow.
• Willingness to contribute in a collaborative team environment, with a proactive attitude toward learning, supporting team goals, and participating in improvement efforts.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement initiatives to gain efficiency in the manufacturability of current processes while communicating effectively with your AGCO colleagues.
• Resource management, planning, and interfacing with other production groups including interface with our MRP system and planning group to ensure timely production.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college program pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, floor layout, and workflow.
• Willingness to contribute in a collaborative team environment, with a proactive attitude toward learning, supporting team goals, and participating in improvement efforts.
• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Pro/Engineer (Creo), SolidWorks, or similar software is a plus but not required.
