Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time academic program.
• Majoring in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred: CAD/SolidWorks and machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Design fixtures for assembly, metrology, and manufacturing.
• Model and create SolidWorks drawings.
• Machine fixtures and modify using milling machines, lathes, saws, and 3-D printers.
• Machine, modify, and 3-D print existing parts for production.
• Troubleshoot and support assembly, metrology, R&D, and manufacturing issues.
• Optimize and improve processes for manufacturing/assembly.
• Create documentation such as assembly build procedures and in-process inspection.
• Upload documents to PLM system.
• Order and organize tooling, material, and other supplies.
