We are currently looking forpaid Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team in Ludington, MI. This position will be working onsite at our Ludington Manufacturing Plant.

As a Manufacturing Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, engineering, and quality improvement through projects involving aluminum yield optimization, process analysis, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to analyze data, support equipment investment decisions, improve manufacturing processes, and streamline quality inspections by identifying critical surface and dimensional requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work On-site in Ludington, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, or similar productivity software.
• AutoCAD or SolidWorks software proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher.
• Prior Haworth experience.
• Previous Employment experience.
• Extra-curricular activity experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and evaluate data.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications, and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
