Howmet Aerospace is seeking a motivated student for the 2027 Summer Internship Program as an Intern - Manufacturing Engineer at our Del Rio, TX plant. The role supports engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and on-time delivery through process control and improvement initiatives.

Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with Sophomore-level coursework completed, and must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Sophomore level coursework completed.
• Authorized to work in the United States; passport required to commute to our Mexican plant.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery through process control and improvement initiatives.
• Support quality and delivery performance initiatives in the internship program.
