Job summary

Liebherr-America, Inc. invites a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support current products and develop equipment and processes for new products, contributing to the overall Product Delivery System.

The role involves assigned projects, teamwork with engineers and production staff, and opportunities to engage in ad hoc initiatives. Travel up to 10% is expected; MSHA certification may be pursued as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Current active student in good standing who has completed 60 hours toward a related Engineering Bachelor's degree.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
• Ability to maintain MSHA certification.

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern performs basic manufacturing engineering functions in support of current products and the development of equipment and processes for new products and improvements to the overall Product Delivery System.

Responsibilities

• Works independently and as a team member with other Engineers, Designers, and production personnel or on ad hoc projects.

Competencies

Education and Experience:

• Current active student in good standing who has complete 60 hours towards a related Engineering Bachelor’s degree.

Additional Requirements:

• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
• Ability to maintain Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certification
