Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Samarbeta med olika team för att stödja ABB:s verksamhet och säkerställa effektiv koordinering och snabb projektavslutning inom angivna tidsramar.
• Utnyttja insikter om kundernas behov och ABB:s erbjudanden för att identifiera lämpliga lösningar och uppnå kundens förväntningar.
• Delta i teammöten, brainstormingsessioner och andra samarbetsaktiviteter.
• Sök feedback och vägledning från chef och teammedlemmar för att förbättra prestation och färdigheter.
• Läs och tolka dokument som säkerhetsregler, drift- och underhållsinstruktioner.
• Arbeta med matematiska begrepp, statistisk slutsats och grundläggande geometri och trigonometri.
• Säkerhetsmedvetet, 5S-drevet och rekommenderar säkerhetsförändringar omedelbart.

Operations Manager

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in Jonesboro, AR.

Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Collaborating with various teams to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
• Leveraging insights about customer needs and ABB's offerings to identify suitable solutions for clients, leading to project results that meet customer expectations.
• Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
• Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Work with mathematical concepts, statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Safety-conscious, 5S-driven, and recommends safety corrections immediately.

Qualifications for the role:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipnow and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
