Job summary

Aprilaire is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op for its Poynette, Wisconsin facility. You will work hands-on with engineers to design mechanical components in CAD, produce technical drawings and documentation, and assist with feasibility studies evaluating performance, cost, and reliability.

The role emphasizes lean and continuous improvement, collaboration with production, HR, and quality teams, and participation in new product launches with a focus on manufacturability and safety

Qualifications

• Undergrad pursuing BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• GPA 3.0+ requirement.
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Create technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Assist feasibility and capability studies evaluating performance, cost, and reliability.
• Participate in lean and continuous improvement with multiple departments.
• Support safety through ergonomic improvements.
• Assist with new product launch activities and line setup.
