Job summary

Resonetics in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op to support engineering projects in a fast-paced medical-device manufacturing environment. You will help design, modify, and document tooling, fixtures, and processes to support production of precision components.

This role offers hands-on exposure to trials, data collection, troubleshooting, and process improvements on the shop floor, with collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, NPI, and Lightspeed teams.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, or related Engineering.
  • Familiarity with CAD and basic engineering drawing practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work directly with production teams.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to organize multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with design, modification, and documentation of tooling, fixtures, workstations, and manufacturing-support equipment.
  • Support trials, data collection, troubleshooting, and process-improvement activities on the manufacturing floor.
  • Help create and revise drawings, work instructions, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Participate in equipment and process evaluations, including opportunities to improve safety, quality, throughput, and ergonomics.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, NPI, and Lightspeed teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op will support engineering projects within a fast-paced medical-device manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to the development and improvement of equipment, tooling, fixtures, manufacturing processes, and technical documentation that support the production of precision components and assemblies.

Required Qualifications

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $23.00 to $28.00.
