Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is seeking an Associate Engineer Manufacturing to support powertrain machining and assembly processes at the Pilgrim Road facility in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will collaborate with product engineers and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency, tooling, and capacity while maintaining quality and cost targets.

We value candidates with hands-on experience in CNC programming, lean manufacturing, and process planning.

Qualifications

• Requires typically no previous professional experience.
• Preferred: co-op or intern in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, SPC, and CAD is desirable.
• Familiarity with process planning, ergonomics, lean/cellular concepts, and tooling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Participate with product engineering to design parts for manufacturability.
• Provide productivity improvements to reduce manufacturing cycle time by eliminating waste.
• Ensure safe, ergonomic work cells and processes complying with regulations.
• Provide capacity while maintaining flexibility and predictability in manufacturing.
• Support engineers and operators in developing tools, fixtures, and machines.
• Develop and execute project plans to meet deadlines.
• Serve as a technical resource in machining, assembly, CNC programming, CMM and gauging procedures.
• Provide robust processes, tools and gauges to reduce variation.
