• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 10 years automotive experience.
• Experience with die/die processes, assembly tooling, welding and sealer applications, CMM and datum alignment.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word) and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistical methods and calculations to determine manufacturing processes and production standards.
• Coordinate quality control objectives to resolve production problems and minimize costs.
• Communicate with vendors and management on product specifications and project status.
• Draft layouts of equipment and workspace to maximize efficiency.
• Review production schedules and engineering specifications to understand methods and activities.
• Estimate production costs and assess design changes for management review.
