Job summary

Tegra Medical in Dartmouth, MA seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to design and implement efficient manufacturing processes ensuring high quality products. You will lead improvements, develop layouts, and collaborate on DFx with customers while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires CAD/CAM/CNC proficiency, experience with machining, and ERP collaboration to optimize production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM and CNC machining processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design and implement new manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement and lead with implementation of improvements
  • Determine problem resolutions and implement improvements and or corrective actions.
  • Identify and implement new pieces of manufacturing equipment that increase productivity and improve quality.
  • Develop detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow
  • Develop and implement cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations
  • Interact with customers to provide design for manufacturability recommendations and guidance regarding processes
  • Maintain research and activity documentation and prepare reports.
  • Design and create dimensioned drawings for tools and fixturing
  • Familiarity and understanding of computer numerical control (CNC) systems
  • Strong knowledge of computer aided design (CAD) systems
  • Work with company ERP system to assist the business
