Job summary

Quality Tech Services (QTS) is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer to support production, optimize processes, and drive improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will develop and refine procedures, monitor equipment, work with Quality on new products, and implement root-cause analyses and corrective actions. Strong communication and CAD familiarity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or other Engineering Science.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Detail oriented with accurate record-keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve procedures, docs, tools, fixtures, and programs for existing products.
• Monitor equipment performance and address issues affecting yield or quality.
• Interface with Quality to integrate new products/processes.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Lead technical activities for new/improved processes and design for manufacturability.
• Analyze problems using engineering principles and implement innovative solutions.
• Develop processes using statistical process control as appropriate.
• Maintain routers and bill of materials; approve procedures.
• Map processes, assess efficiency, and drive complex projects.
• Assist with part cost estimation.
