Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Senior (Level 4) for THAAD Program Tooling, advancing tooling designs and manufacturing processes to enable rapid, reliable production of the THAAD system.

You will lead tooling design refinement, provide DFMA input, and drive cost-reduction and risk-mitigation efforts while coordinating with internal and supplier teams. This role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manufacturing instructions and system data.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25–50%.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer Stf (Level 4) you will be responsible for advancing tool design and manufacturing processes that enable rapid, reliable production of the THAAD system.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Develop and refine tooling designs to meet production requirements.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manufacturing instructions, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
  • Ability to travel domestic and/or international 25-50%
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
  • Experience manufacturing THAAD
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production operations environment
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
