Job summary

Telamon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize assembly processes for telecommunications equipment shelters. You will partner with engineering and operations to establish standards, reduce cycle times, and ensure scalable production as the facility grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, or related technical field.
• Experience designing and optimizing manufacturing processes in startup or ramp environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and customer requirements into repeatable production processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize assembly workflows, layouts, and material flow to meet capacity and engineering specs.
• Develop procedures, work instructions, and standards for production floors.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and process issues.
• Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, and quality to ensure readiness for new configurations.
• Mentor production teams on processes and quality standards.
