Job summary

gpac is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a well-established manufacturing client in the United States. The role focuses on developing SOPs, evaluating designs, and driving process improvements to support production efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a bachelors in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and 1-3 years of experience, with preference for MRPs and metal fabrication knowledge. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field is required.
• 1-3 years' experience.
• Excellent time management, problem prevention and solving skills.
• MRP Systems experience preferred.
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding and topcoat applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Development of engineering SOP's using manufacturing engineering practices
• Participate in concurrent evaluation and quality assurance design reviews
• Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, and other documents
• Design and procure tools/equipment
• Identify, evaluate, and solve production problems
• Lead training of assemblers to improve and introduce new processes
• Prepare/manufacture prototypes as required utilizing the principals of concurrent engineering
