Qualifications

• Ability to write reports and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
• Analyzes work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow for maximum efficiency.
• Confers with design staff on product design and tooling for efficient production methods.
• Coordinates with vendors to determine specifications and procure equipment/materials.
• Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs for management decisions.
• Discusses manufacturing capabilities and schedules with management and other staff.
• Applies statistical methods to forecast future manufacturing requirements.
