Job summary

Nature’s Bakery is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes and support equipment installation in a high‑volume CPG environment. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate across engineering and operations to raise safety, efficiency, and quality.

Applicants should have a mechanical/industrial engineering background with 3–5+ years in manufacturing, proficiency in CAD tools, and experience with lean/Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years in manufacturing or engineering roles, preferably in food, pharma, or CPG industries.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach to process improvement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in commissioning, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and implement scalable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with vendors/contractors to align project execution with needs.
• Maintain equipment documentation, including schematics and guidelines.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve workflows.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Work with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to improve performance.
• Assist training of production teams on new processes and equipment.
