Job summary

Nature’s Bakery, part of the Mars family, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Utah to optimize manufacturing processes, support equipment installation, and drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced CPG environment.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality, while supporting project management and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering roles, preferably in food, pharma, or CPG industries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to process improvement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in commissioning, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Support development and implementation of scalable manufacturing processes.
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure project execution aligns with operational needs.
• Maintain equipment documentation, including schematics and operational guidelines.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and optimize workflows.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to improve manufacturing performance.
• Assist with training production teams on new processes and equipment operation.
• Create SAP POs for CAPEX & OPEX.
• Data analysis & reporting on manufacturing performance.
