Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking a skilled manufacturing engineer to design, develop and optimize production processes for high-volume manufacturing. You will contribute to tooling, fixtures and equipment design while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The role requires expert CAD skills, strong reading of drawings, and extensive knowledge of machining, welding, and fabrication. A four-year technical degree and 5+ years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical degree with 5+ years manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Expert CAD skills with SolidWorks and ability to read complex drawings.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, fabrication and assembly techniques.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and implements production processes for mass production.
• Provides input to tooling, fixtures, and production equipment designs.
• Supports manufacturing in troubleshooting and improving processes.
• Leads cost-improvement activities and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensures processes comply with regulations and quality standards.
