Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes that boost productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. This role collaborates across production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering to meet specifications and business goals.

You will lead process design, documentation, CAPA, and capital projects, driving continuous improvement and ensuring readiness for new products and equipment validation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing process design.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to present results to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and plant layouts.
  • Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and efficiency gains.
  • Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Support new product introductions by developing processes and validating readiness.
  • Investigate production issues and implement CAPA actions.
  • Perform root cause analyses for quality, safety, and operational challenges.
  • Evaluate equipment, tooling, automation, and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to ensure regulatory compliance and internal QA systems.
  • Participate in capital projects, including equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and validation.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive throughput, yield, and equipment utilization.
