Job summary

US Engine Valve is seeking a technically skilled engineer to lead plant operations improvements on First Shift. You will participate in capital projects, develop processes for new products, and optimize tooling and machines to boost quality and productivity.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of CNC/PLC control systems, capital justification, and cross-functional collaboration with maintenance and manufacturing teams. Exempt position with broad operational impact.

Qualifications

Technical knowledge of machine function and processes.
Knowledge of CNC/PLC and electrical/electronic systems.
Experience with capital equipment justification and project scheduling.
Mentor maintenance personnel and support other plants.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing process flows for new products and Manufacturing Feasibility Reports.
Determine machine parameters and tooling requirements for new and existing products.
Support development and revision of process specifications and operation sheets.
Conduct capability studies to ensure quality and productivity.
Implement new technologies to improve quality and productivity.
Coordinate capital projects for production equipment.
Follow Quality and Environmental Management Systems daily.
Collaborate with CIT & Champion teams using 8D, DOE, and other tools.
