Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is seeking a process-driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. You will evaluate and improve modular manufacturing processes, support daily production, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

The role requires 3–7+ years in manufacturing engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and strong ROI planning skills. You’ll collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Design, and Quality in a fast-paced modular environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• 3–7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven experience evaluating manufacturing processes and leading improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to develop ROI-based business cases for capital and process improvements.
• Experience working with vendors and equipment suppliers.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement tools.
• Experience with welding, piping, mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and system testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes for large modular assemblies and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and labor efficiency.
• Develop ROI-based business cases for capital expenditures and process improvements.
• Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support to production teams.
• Support factory layout optimization, material flow improvements, and labor efficiency initiatives.
• Develop and contact vendors for new manufacturing solutions and equipment demonstrations.
• Support introduction of new products, designs, or module configurations into manufacturing.
• Support quality initiatives including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
