Job summary

G3 Boats, a division of Yamaha Marine, in Lebanon, Missouri, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate, improve, and implement manufacturing processes that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support quality standards. This onsite role requires hands-on problem solving and project leadership from concept through implementation.

You will work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, analyze data, prepare documentation, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven work experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or process engineering.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and manufacturing risk assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing manufacturing systems and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, cost, safety, and changeover performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to improve productivity, reduce waste, strengthen quality, and support operational excellence.
• Develop, configure, and implement new manufacturing processes and process improvements using sound engineering practices.
• Assess production processes, take measurements, interpret data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and strengthening quality standards.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and partner with site personnel to transition process improvements into plant operations.
