Job summary

CPS Technologies Corp. in Norton, MA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer who will design, improve and optimize production processes, tooling and manufacturing instructions to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output.

You will lead process evaluation, implement improvements, work with cross-functional teams, and support automation and metrology efforts to reduce waste and scrap while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering; U.S. citizenship required; 2–4 years of proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of statistical process control methods and analysis; ISO 9001 environment experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, 6-Sigma, 5S, A3 and 8D quality improvement methods.
• Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently or on teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor production controls and follow all health, safety and environmental policies.
• Contribute to major projects involving process evaluation, troubleshooting, monitoring process performance, and implementing continuous improvements.
• Support manufacturing operations to characterize, stabilize and improve CPS processes, yields, and efficiencies.
• Work with engineers and production teams to reduce scrap and rework, eliminate waste, and ensure quality and safety.
