Job summary

Elanco is seeking a skilled manufacturing engineer to support the operation, control, and optimization of assets at the Elwood, KS monoclonal antibody facility.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience, plus familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ, GMP, SOPs, CAPA and Process Validation. You will collaborate across teams to drive safe, compliant improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 1 year post‑baccalaureate experience.
• 1 year of experience in medical device, pharma, or biotechnology industry; IQ/OQ/Validation; cGMP; GMP documentation; SOP; Batch Documents; Change Control; Protocol Execution; Deviation investigation; SPC to monitor process parameters; design scope for manufacturing equipment; maintenance guidance for manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, control and optimization of manufacturing assets at the Elwood, KS monoclonal antibody facility.
• Act as SME for process and equipment; participate in design, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities for major projects.
• Provide on‑floor support for equipment and process troubleshooting; ensure proper QA/QC documentation and change management.
• Identify risks and implement improvements to maximize project return and technical success.
