Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the United States seeks a Manufacturing Engineering specialist to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies and tooling. You will leverage automation, robotics and CAD tools to drive efficiency, cost savings and quality improvements, while analyzing data to support continuous improvement and design input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical or Aerospace) from an accredited college.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication across multiple levels of the business and remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor support and repair to solve immediate production constraints.
• Develop corrective actions to improve the production system and reduce SRR costs and hours per unit.
• Perform manufacturing evaluations of engineering changes.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives.
• Address complex technical issues and drive to resolution.
• Maintain/Improve Standard Operating Procedures.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams.
• Maintain compliance to AS9100, Command Media, and related regulations.
• Must be a US Citizen.
