Job summary

Threadlock Precision, a rapidly growing aerospace/defense component manufacturer, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for our Kremin facility in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The role offers hands-on shop floor support, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with machinists, programmers, quality, and maintenance to drive safe, efficient production.

The successful candidate will develop and optimize machining processes, interpret GD&T and drawings, support AS9100/ISO9001 compliance, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years manufacturing engineering experience in machining.
• Experience with GD&T, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
• Investigate production issues related to quality, throughput, cycle time, tooling, and stability.
• Collaborate with machinists, programmers, Quality, maintenance, and leadership to root causes and corrective actions.
• Lead improvements to increase productivity, equipment utilization and production flow while reducing scrap and downtime.
• Develop and improve processes for new/existing products, including routings, tooling, setups, and inspections.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements to establish manufacturing methods.
• Support quality investigations and AS9100/ISO9001 compliance.
