Job summary

INNIO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Test & Paint to improve engine paint and testing operations through process optimization and new technologies. You will lead equipment selection, support NPI programs, and develop manufacturing documentation while driving productivity and quality improvements.

The role requires collaboration across global teams, strong problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and environmental standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing, paint operations, test systems or assembly in an industrial setting.
  • CAD knowledge and ability to read complex drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with GD&T principles and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize engine test cell, paint, and finishing processes for safety, quality, throughput and cost.
  • Lead capital projects and equipment selection, installation and validation.
  • Develop and maintain BOMs, routings, work instructions and process parameters.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support NPI programs and production readiness.
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve first-pass yield and process capability.
  • Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards are met in all activities.
