Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
0-6 yrs of experience with manufacturing engineering focusing on CNC machining and processing.
Technical aptitude for writing work instructions, procedures, and manuals for manufacturing processes.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and technical computer software.
Knowledge of blueprints, GD&T, and aerospace mil specs and standards.
Responsibilities
Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in the plant.
Analyzes workforce utilization, space, and workflow for efficiency.
Collaborates with planning/design staff on product tooling for production efficiency.
Coordinates with vendors to specify products and arrange equipment/material purchases.
Estimates production times, staffing, and costs for management decisions.
Consults with management and engineering on manufacturing capabilities and schedules.
Applies statistical methods to forecast future manufacturing needs.
