Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of mechanical design experience.
• SolidWorks 3D CAD experience.
• Familiarity with production methods.
• Experience with finite element analysis.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development.
• Plans, conducts, and directs projects or phases of significant projects.
• Reviews progress and evaluates results; recommends corrections.
• Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
• May provide technical consultation to staff and management.
