Job summary

Rehlko is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement within a defined area.

You will apply Lean Manufacturing principles, solve problems hands-on, and collaborate across Production Supervisors, Materials, and Design Engineers to keep builds moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Implement Lean/continuous improvement in the department.
• Develop safe, ergonomic processes; coordinate with supervision and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain Lean/continuous improvement principles in the department.
• Participate in productivity and cost-reduction efforts to improve process and lower cost.
• Develop safe, ergonomic processes; work with supervision and maintenance to correct unsafe conditions.
• Analyze operations and equipment utilization to maximize quality and output.
• Support production builds, working closely with Production Supervisors, Materials, and Design Engineers to resolve issues.
• Coordinate new product introductions — partnering with Design Engineering and the production floor, establishing shop routes, and evaluating capacity needs.
• Provide technical support and monitor critical processes.
• Provide backup support for department foreman or scheduler as needed.
• Support ISO9001 compliance efforts.
