Job summary

Hayden Industrial in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge product design and scalable production. You will architect MBOM development, plant layout, custom tooling, and capital equipment procurement with long lead times.

Responsibilities include line design, 2D/3D plant layouts, SOPs, takt-time balancing, FAT/SAT planning, and MBOM validation to ensure accurate shop-floor material flow and data integrity across ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience focusing on line layout, tooling, and BOM management.
• Experience managing CAPEX projects and heavy machinery vendors.
• Proficient in CAD tools for plant layout and tooling design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize process lines and plant layout for efficiency and safety.
• Lead MBOM validation and ensure alignment with shop-floor consumption.
• Manage CAPEX projects and vendor relationships for high-capital equipment.
• Develop custom tooling, fixtures, and DFM with product design teams.
• Implement Poka‑Yoke mechanisms to prevent defects.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT and risk mitigation for new equipment.
