Job summary
Advanced Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Westminster, Colorado to develop and optimize welding and forming processes for highly engineered stainless-steel equipment.
You will design workflows, implement new technologies, and create tooling/fixtures while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams, lead Lean initiatives, and contribute to documentation such as SOPs and travelers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a fabrication environment.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and refine welding and fabrication processes.
- Analyze operations to identify improvements and implement Lean practices.
- Provide technical guidance, train staff, and troubleshoot fabrication issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and project teams to ensure manufacturability.
- Create work instructions, SOPs, and travelers; support change requests.
