Job summary

Brunswick, a global marine leader, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Fond du Lac, WI. You will own machining and grinding processes, drive lean improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will develop and refine processes, manage capital projects, and coordinate with design engineering and vendors. A bachelor’s degree and 3–8 years in process engineering are required, with strong problem-solving and hands-on skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in process engineering for CNC machining, grinding and/or robotics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on capability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage/projects.
• Effective cross-functional communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own processes in Machining and Backstand Grinding departments.
• Develop and refine equipment to reduce scrap, rework, and costs.
• Collaborate with supervision to meet production requirements.
• Manage projects to identify root causes of issues and improve quality.
• Create work instructions to maintain ISO compliance.
• Apply DMAIC and CI tools to improve processes.
• Lead large capital projects and liaison with design engineering.
• Work with vendors for tooling and parts, ensure safety.
• Support robotics programs and offline programming tools.
• Develop new manufacturing processes for new products.
