Job summary

Adecco Group in partnership with a leading manufacturing client is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer for the Cookeville, TN area. You will focus on process optimization, Lean initiatives, and continuous improvement to enhance throughput and OEE.

You will develop standard work, support new product launches, and collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive safe, efficient operations. This role offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing, Process, Industrial or similar Engineering experience.
• Strong process improvement and data analysis skills.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Client is not able to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing efficiency through process optimization and Lean initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, time studies, and line balancing.
• Improve throughput, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Specify, source, and implement manufacturing tooling and equipment.
• Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Support new product launches and production ramp-ups.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and production issues.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient operations.
