Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Experience programming laser cutting systems and CNC equipment.
• Lean manufacturing experience and data-driven improvement skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and cross-functional collaboration ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Program and optimize laser cutting machines, turret punches, and press brakes.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED).
• Create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate installation, startup, and integration of new equipment and automation.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues with operators and maintenance.
• Provide input and cost justification for capital purchases and upgrades.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers on manufacturability and issues.
• Drive root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
• Support production scheduling and ERP/MES for workflow planning.
• Track KPIs such as OEE, scrap, cycle time, and uptime.
